Sean Rodriguez, Faster Payments Strategy Leader, Retires

Sean Rodriguez, Federal Reserve Faster Payments Strategy Leader, executive vice president, and 35-year veteran of the Federal Reserve, is retiring on a high note after steering multi-year collaborative industry efforts to a successful conclusion with the launch of a new industry-led organization, the U.S. Faster Payments Council (FPC). He will retire from the Federal Reserve Bank effective January 4, 2019. Read our blog celebrating his career and leave a comment expressing your well wishes.

Comment Period Concludes for the Faster Payments Settlement Assessment Federal Register Notice

On December 14, the comment period closed for the Federal Register Notice on potential actions the Federal Reserve could take to promote ubiquitous, safe and efficient faster payments by facilitating real-time interbank settlement of Faster Payments.
